FenceScor app for iPhone and iPad
Developer: Xperience Engineering
First release : 15 Jun 2011
App size: 3.04 Mb
FenceScor has all the tools needed to referee or keep track of a fencing bout. You can keep time, score, determine priority, give out and keep track of cards. It comes with sounds for important actions like Start, Stop, and End of Time, but it also has an easily accessible mute button.
By touching the displayed time, controls pop up that allow you to easily edit the clock to any number of minutes or seconds. Four reset buttons are located on the screen bottom (reset all, 1:00-time only, 3:00-time only, and Priority-determine priority and reset clock to 1:00).
The iPad version is best suited to a dedicated scorer/time keeper because of the iPad size and weight. The iPad version has a “fencers display” when the iPad is rotated that shows the time, scores and cards for each fencer. This view is flipped (left to right) so that it can be shown to the fencers and still be correct.
The FenceScor App is translated into English, French (Français), Spanish (Español/Esperanto), German (Deutsch), Italian (Italiano), Japanese (日本語), Chinese (粵語, 粵語) and Norwegian (Norsk).
Latest reviews of FenceScor app for iPhone and iPad
It looks nice and works well. I really like the priority coin flip and that you can choose any time on the clock.
Has every function you could need and intuitive to use. However on my phone each time I use the coin flip button it freezes the screen and i have to reset the application. Besides that there arent any problems and you can just use an actual coin if its too much of a concern
